Chamois cream

Hi guys, I've been using Bepanthen as a chamois cream for sometime mainly because it works and is inexpensive. Recently I washed my Knicks and found the cream leeching from the chamois. Is there a less greasy, inexpensive option or should I buy proper chamois cream? Also are the known brands worth the price? Any feedback appreciated. Cheers. Scott.

Might have more to do with your washing than the cream? Bepanthan is not a bad substitute if you like your chamois creme more towards the gloopy end of the spectrum. I think others like Matty D make their own with a sorbolene(?) base

Thanks for the reply Gemma, I've tried the Assos cream recently with great results all round, pricey but appears to be worth it.
