Whispering Wall Saturday 19 April Results

13 riders decided to enjoy the beautiful weather and a challenging course - voted by many as one of the best in SA.

Doug Parkyn was the lone front marker and was caught in the first lap but pushed to do a great ride by himself for most of the course. Damion Hadcroft made his intentions clear in the first lap by dropping his joint scratch marker (Logan Squires) and beginning his move through the field. Chris Andrews made his mark for the spriners union by leading at the end of the first lap and from there riding solidly to finish fourth.
Adam Barnes left his co-marker (Olivia Pilla) to try to keep the galloping Damo at bay. Colin Kinnaird decided to try to go with the catching groups and showed great form in working by himself for a large part of the race to finish 5th and almost 6 minutes ahead of his co-markers. Logan settled down to ride by himself to finsih fifth.
Aimee Alsbury and Dallas Zimmer combined to come in together followed by Jamie Lemura who was still on a high following his first track session on Wednesday night.
Damo's ride was the highlight as he continued to work his way through the field and finished 4 seconds inside the hour and leading the second place getter over the line by over 3 minutes. Liv was the first female over the line.
All riders and competitors enjoyed the fresh fruit provided by Doug Parkyn after the event.
