I have to agree, hills are where its at. And Saturday mornings are good. Sorry Wenqi, I'm spoken for in terms of Saturdays for the next month or so, but definitely will be doing Saturday hills rides in the future.

Sunday is certainly quieter and more conducive to longer rides. Saturday starts off quiet but gets pretty busy in most places by mid-morning.

In the "old days" a lot of people worked on Saturday mornings or all day sometimes. Then there was usually racing in the afternoon.
Sunday was really the only day where you could fit in a decent training ride.

.....and some PACC members do go into the hills I believe.

Bates will require that we travel at no more than 10 km/h up the hills.
Two wheels good, four wheels bad. In a pinch, three will do...

Well we used to go up hills, but then only flatlanders come to the AEC these days so it's a foregone conclusion.
Aimee, maybe waterfall gully is in order, at least it's not too far and the fast guys can't keep going....

Is there a rule about the relationship between an accredited coach and an organised club training ride? :???:
