I like this idea. The stag and their ridiculously oversized pint glasses could be a nice place to meet and get festive before the festivities.

I think The Stag are one of the very, very few pubs with real pints and not the 80%ers that most pubs call a "pint". Do beer containers get bigger or smaller the more you drink? Does it vary? :?: :?: :?:

In my recent experiences with the Stag, half the so called 'massive' pint was HEAD!!!!!!! I was outraged and commented to the bar staff thus.

I have therefore taken my patronage elsewhere (goon bag in the parklands).

I'm in. I'm also very easily persuaded to consume acholic beverages at the stag. Say 4 o'clock?

Will be there for the movie, and will hopefully join y'all for a beer (or goonbag) beforehand.
The ideal number of bikes is one... I just can't decide which one.

or meet us all at the cinema at 5:30

This is also the day of the coast to coast. I'm supposed to be riding home also. So I'm coming to the Stag if I don't fall off dead on my bike on the way home. If however I do, I'll be there for the movie.
